One of the main purposes of this website is to provide content. I needed to design the individual and category pages to make it simple for users - the teachers - to search through and find relevant content for their classrooms.
My goal was to design a clear website flow and category pages to maximize leads and clicks.
The biggest challenge going into this project was the deadline. I had a few weeks to design a high-quality website and oversee the development.
I had free reign over the design, and so I opted for a clean aesthetic based on a grid system to achieve a consistent and organized design.
In order to speed up delivery time, I designed the website based on the atomic design principles in which interfaces are made up of smaller components which then repeat themselves throughout the design and template pages.
